The PHP Hydra supports different engine calibrations for towing, daily driving and performance, selected using the in-cab digital switch. Calibration suitability depends on your truck's PCM, transmission and modifications.

This listing is for the Hydra chip package. Preloaded tunes, a $100 tune-loading service, and custom tuning are not offered as selectable options through this listing. Do not assume the chip will arrive with tunes selected or loaded for your truck. Package and fitment

The package includes the PHP Hydra chip, digital selector, ribbon cable and USB cable. The Hydra has 15 selectable tune positions, plus bypass and no-start modes.

For 1994.5–2003 7.3L Powerstroke applications. Not for the 7.3L IDI or 6.0L, 6.4L or 6.7L engines.

Software and installation

For compatible files, HydraFlash software and installation guidance, consult the official PHP downloads page and Hydra product guide. HydraFlash uses a Windows computer. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and confirm compatibility before loading files or installing the chip.

Modified injectors or other engine changes can require setup-specific tuning. Custom Jelibuilt tuning is not included in this listing.

Tune names and advertised horsepower are not towing-capacity ratings or guaranteed power gains. Stay within your truck's rated limits.
