Polished covers can have a 1–2 week lead time, according to the supplier. This is a finish lead time, not a promised delivery window. Confirm the current dispatch estimate for your selected option before scheduling installation.

Choosing between the two 6.0 Powerstroke Stage 3 turbos

Both listings are for 2003–2007 6.0 Powerstroke applications and list support for up to 205cc/75% injectors, but their setup recommendations differ.

• KC Jetfire S3r Gen 2: Dual ball bearing design. The supplier states that it works with stock injectors and describes good street manners. Its stated 650–700 hp capability requires larger injectors and supporting modifications; it is not a stock-truck power promise.
• KC Stage 3 (68/70) Gen 2: Upgraded 360 thrust bearing. The supplier does not recommend this model for stock injectors or heavy towing. It is positioned for power-focused street, dyno, and track use, with a stated 600–675 hp range requiring supporting modifications. Custom SCT tuning is highly recommended by the supplier.

Before ordering: Confirm your injector size, tuning, supporting modifications, and intended use with KC Turbos or your installer. Do not assume that the Jetfire is suitable for heavy towing simply because it works with stock injectors; its current description does not establish a heavy-towing recommendation.

 Description:

The stage 3 turbo is a MONSTER and will run great on the dyno and the track, with great drive ability around town. We do not recommend this turbo for those looking to tow heavy loads, that does not mean tow but this turbo is better suited for making power rather than towing heavy loads. This Turbo is NOT recommended for stock injectors. This is the Turbo for you if you want to be able to daily drive your truck during the week and race in competitions on the weekends. 

**EXHAUST BRAKES:  We get asked a lot about exhaust brakes and if they work with our turbos.  We have found that some brands have clearance issues and might cause the brake to hinder performance, rub the turbine wheel, or cause other issues.  These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking.  This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended.  It will be up to the customer to verify fitment and functionality.**
